So far this year I have been on two CPD days. The first was in February and was on the back. We learned more about problems that can occur in the lumbar region such as, bulging discs, sacro-iliac joint dysfunction and further work on the psoas muscle. There were some very gentle and effective techniques to practise, several of which I've already built into treatments and found very useful.

Last week end I was on an excellent course all about the shoulder. Again, there was a heavy focus towards practical techniques to ease pain and improve mobility. We learned more about problems including shoulder impingement, rotator cuff injuries, biceps tendonitis and bursitis.
